James and Kathleen Thornton establish the family roofing business in Cargin, County Antrim.
A fabrication workshop opens at the current headquarters, bringing sheet-metal flashings in-house.
ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification is secured as the workshop expands into bespoke metalwork.
A further workshop expansion and aluminium glazing division complete the full external-envelope offer.
